Getting Started

Assets

Every image, video, audio file, 3D model and world in a project, in one panel you can search, filter, tag and use in any tab.

Overview

Assets holds everything a project makes or uploads. Every tab reads the same list: open Assets in the sidebar of a Flow, Design or Cinema Studio tab. New results land there by themselves, with a name written by AI. Rename an asset and your name stays.

Upload

Click Upload, drop files on the panel, or drop them on the empty list. You can upload images (PNG, JPG, WebP, AVIF, GIF, SVG), video (MP4, WebM, MOV), audio (MP3, WAV, OGG, M4A, AAC, FLAC), 3D models (GLB, glTF) and worlds (SPZ, SPLAT, PLY). Images, audio, 3D and worlds can be up to 50 MB, video up to 100 MB.

Find assets

  • Type in Search assets.
  • Filter narrows the list by Kind (Images, Videos, 3D, Audio, Worlds, Documents), Source (Generated or Imported), Folder, Tags and Made on page. Active filters show as chips; click one to clear it, or use Clear filters.
  • The sort menu orders by newest, oldest, largest or smallest, and sets the tile size.
  • Right-click an asset for Same style (assets with its style tags) or More from this model.

Select many

Click to select, ⌘/Ctrl+click or Shift+click to add, ⌘A for all and Esc to clear. The bar above the list can Move to folder, set Tags, Download (several as a zip) or Delete. Deleting removes the assets for everyone in the project, and tabs that use one show it as missing.

Tags

Tags are yours across projects; a tag only marks the assets you add it to. Tags are grouped as Characters, Objects, Style and Categories. In Filter, under Tags, you can add a New tag, and rename, merge or remove your own tags.

The viewer

Press Space, double-click an asset or click its expand button to open the viewer. Move with ← and →, close with Esc.

  • Images zoom; video and audio play; 3D models turn in a viewer.
  • The side panel shows the prompt, the model, tags, kind, size, length and date. Copy prompt copies the prompt.
  • Buttons add the asset to the tab you are in (Add to canvas, Add to board or Add at playhead), Use as reference or Download it.

To turn a still into a video in Cinema Studio, open it in the Generate results and click Make video: the Video prompt opens with the still as its start frame.

Use assets anywhere

Drag an asset onto the Flow canvas or a block, onto a Design board, or onto a Cinema Studio track.

Type @ in a prompt to mention an asset by name. The chip follows the asset if you rename it. If the asset is deleted, the chip reads Missing asset and the run will not start until you remove or replace it, so nothing is charged.

Older projects

A project made before Assets lists its earlier files as they are added. Until then the panel says the list is still filling in.
