Image Editor

A powerful built-in editor for refining, editing, and enhancing your generated or uploaded images.

Overview

The Image block includes a built-in editor for refining your images without leaving Raelume. Access it by clicking the edit button on any image in your block.

The editor gives you precise control over your images with tools for:

  • Inpainting specific areas
  • Outpainting to extend images
  • Layer-based non-destructive editing
  • Region selection for targeted generation

Opening the Editor

Click the pencil icon on any image to enter edit mode. You can edit:

  • Generated images
  • Uploaded images
  • Any version in your history

The editor opens in a focused view where you can work on your image in detail.

Editor Tools

Brush Tool

Paint directly on your image to define areas for inpainting or outpainting. Adjust brush size and hardness for precise control.

Eraser Tool

Remove parts of your mask or edits. Works on the current layer only.

Selection Tool

Draw rectangular or freeform selections to define regions for batch operations.

Pan & Zoom

Navigate large images easily. Zoom in for detail work, pan to move around.

Workflow

  1. Open the editor on any image
  2. Select a tool and define your edit area
  3. Write a prompt describing what you want in that area
  4. Generate and the AI fills only the selected region
  5. Accept or discard the edit, then continue refining

Each edit becomes a new layer, so you can always undo or adjust individual changes.

Pro Tips

  1. Zoom in when working on small details for more precision
  2. Use soft brush edges for more natural blending
  3. Start with larger edits, then refine with smaller targeted changes
  4. The prompt only affects the masked area - be specific about what you want there
