Versions
Every generation creates a version. Browse, compare, and manage your creative iterations within each block.
What are Versions?
Every time you generate content in a block - whether it's an image, video, or 3D model - it becomes a version. Versions are your creative history, letting you explore different directions without losing previous work.
Think of each block as a container - a mini creative studio where you can freely experiment. Generate as many variations as you want, then pick the ones that work best.
Version History
Access your version history by clicking the version indicator in the top-left corner of any media block. Here you can:
- Browse through all generations in that block
- Preview any version by hovering over it
- Select a version to make it the active output
- Compare different versions side by side
Version Actions
Right-click any version to access quick actions:
- Send to block - Route this version to any connected block
- Clone to new block - Create a new block with this version
- Download - Save the file to your device
- Delete - Remove versions you don't need
Working with Versions
When you connect blocks, the currently selected version flows downstream. Change which version is active, and all connected blocks will use the new selection.
This means you can:
- Generate multiple image variations
- Pick different ones to send to different video blocks
- Compare the animated results
- All without losing any of your original generations
Versions are saved automatically. Your creative history is always preserved.
Pro Tips
- Use version history to A/B test different prompts on the same base image
- Clone promising versions to new blocks for parallel experimentation
- Keep your block organized by removing versions you won't use
- The version counter shows how many generations you've made in each block
